How I Work

I'm an accredited psychotherapist and executive mindset coach with an MSc in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy. I've worked clinically across the NHS, Metropolitan Police, Deloitte and KPMG.

What that means in practice: I don't just help you talk about how you feel. I help you understand why you feel that way, where those patterns started, and how to change them at the root.

My approach draws on CBT, IFS, integrative counselling, somatic techniques, hypnotherapy, NLP, trauma-focused EMDR and stress management techniques, and because I also work as an executive coach, I already understand the world you're operating in. The weight of leadership. The loneliness at the top. The pressure to keep performing when you have nothing left.

Therapy Programme

I work in structured therapeutic programmes rather than open-ended weekly sessions. Real change requires momentum, not occasional check-ins.

Your programme includes:

  • 12 sessions over 4 months (3 sessions per month)
  • 50-minute sessions held online via Zoom
  • One integration week per month to process and embed the work
  • A consistent, protected space built around your schedule

The integration week is intentional. It gives you time to process and implement between sessions, because real change happens in the spaces in between, not just in the room.

Nicola Hladky

I hold an MSc in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and advanced qualifications in Integrative Counselling, CBT, Hypnotherapy and NLP. I'm an EMCC-accredited High Performance Coach and a Certified ADHD Coach.

I've worked clinically and as a coach across the UK, Europe and the UAE, including with organisations such as the NHS, Metropolitan Police, Deloitte and KPMG.

I bring all of that into the therapy room, giving clients a unique blend of deep psychological work and practical, solution-focused support.

Who is this programme for?+
This programme is for founders, CEOs, senior leaders and ambitious professionals who are high-performing but privately struggling with anxiety, burnout, imposter syndrome or a sense that something is missing. If you're functioning well on the outside but struggling on the inside, this is designed for you.
How is this different from regular therapy?+
I combine clinical psychotherapy with executive coaching. That means we go deep into the psychological patterns driving your behaviour, but we also work practically on how you lead, make decisions and operate under pressure. You don't have to choose between therapy or coaching, you get both. And because I understand the world of high-performance leadership, you won't spend sessions explaining your context.
Why 3 sessions per month instead of weekly?+
Three sessions per month gives us enough frequency to build real momentum and go deeper than surface-level conversation. The fourth week is an integration week, giving you space to process and implement what we've worked on. Real change happens in the gaps, not just in the room.
Why a structured programme and not open-ended sessions?+
Structured programmes create commitment and momentum. Open-ended therapy can drift. Four months gives us enough time to identify your core patterns, do the deep work to shift them and build sustainable change. It's focused and intentional, not dependency on a therapist.
Where do sessions take place?+
All sessions are online via Zoom. This allows for maximum flexibility and ensures you can access support regardless of your location. I work with clients across the UK, Europe and the UAE.
