Who is this for?+

What is executive mindset coaching?+
Executive mindset coaching works on the psychological patterns, beliefs and thinking habits that drive leadership behaviour. It is different from traditional coaching because it goes underneath the strategy to address the root causes of what gets in the way. Nicola's approach combines EMCC-accredited executive coaching with clinical psychotherapy, so clients get both the depth of therapy and the forward momentum of coaching in the same space.
How is this different from traditional coaching?+
Most coaches meet fortnightly, offer strategy, and leave you on your own when things get difficult. I go deeper. You have direct access to me between sessions for real-time support when you are actually in the moment. I draw on a full clinical toolkit including CBT, IFS, NLP, hypnotherapy and EMDR. We do not just change what you do. We change how your mind works under pressure.
How is coaching different from therapy?+
Therapy focuses primarily on understanding and healing past experiences. Coaching focuses on present performance and future goals. Nicola's work combines both, using psychotherapy techniques to address the root causes of what is getting in the way, while applying coaching strategy to leadership and performance. You get the depth without losing the direction.
What qualifications should an executive coach have?+
Look for accreditation with a recognised body such as EMCC or ICF, plus relevant psychology or coaching training. Nicola holds an MSc in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy, EMCC executive coach accreditation, and Harvard Leadership Certification. She is a member of the British Psychological Society and the National Counselling Society, and is listed on the Counselling Directory and Life Coach Directory.
